As per the screenshot shared by Lei Jun, Chairman Xiaomi, the company’s upcoming flagship christened Mi 5 will flaunt dual-SIM feature along with NFC support.
The revealed features though do not appear to be very latest because these features had already surfaced in recent leaks.
In the last month, it was also stated on China UnionPay’s document that NFC feature will be incorporated in the upcoming flagship. Recently, the device was listed on a website called ‘GearBest’ revealing the dual SIM feature.
On the other hand, till now, these were mere speculations. This time, coming straight from the horse’s mouth it is definitely official now that the upcoming Huawei Mi 5 will encapsulate both the features. For those who are eagerly waiting for the device can now celebrate as the official launch of the handset is only a few months away.
As far as the specs of the device are concerned, it will come with 5.3-inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 1440×2560p screen resolution and 554ppi pixel density. The device will be driven by Snapdragon 820 by Qualcomm coupled with Quad-core 2.2GHz and quad-core 1.8GHz CPU along with Adreno 530 GPU.
For storage, the Mi 5 by Huawei will pack in 4GB of RAM along with 16/64 internal storage. The handset will embrace dual-LED flash supported 16MP autofocus primary shooter along with 4K video recording capability. The device will also sport Li-Po 3030mAh non-removable battery and will run Android OS (v5.1.1 Lollipop).
